Get ready to jazz up your St. Patrick’s Day décor with this super cute, Shamrock Garland crochet pattern. It’s absolutely beginner-friendly! We’re talking basic stitches and zero sewing – talk about a win-win!

Supplies:
- 3.5mm Crochet Hook
- DK yarn in green, about half a ball – I used this one by Stylecraft in the shade Green
Gauge:
Gauge is not important for this project but will effect the size of the finished piece and amount of yarn used
Abbreviations:
This pattern is written using UK terms CH - chain MR - magic ring TRBL - treble crochet DC - double crochet SS - slip stitch FO - finish off ST - stitch
Crochet Pattern:
- CH 40, *SS in 4th CH from hook to make a MR
- CH 3, 2 TRBL into MR, CH 3, SS into MR (one leaf complete)
- CH 5, skip 1 ST and DC 4 back down the chain, SS into MR (stalk complete)
- CH 3, 2 TRBL into MR, CH 3, SS into MR (second leaf complete)
- CH 3, 2 TRBL into MR, CH 3, SS into MR (third leaf complete)
- CH 1. On the back of the shamrock, SS into the base of a TRBL opposite the starting chain
- CH 20
- Repeat from * until your shamrock garland is your desired length. After last shamrock, CH 36 instead of CH 20.
- FO and tie a loop for hanging in the CH 36 on each end.
For this pattern I used DK yarn and made 20 shamrocks. The final garland measures 1.8 metres long.
